Jacque's Cabaret

Jacque’s Cabaret is a storied dive bar and queer institution that opened its doors in Boston in 1938. Now, when queer bodies and culture are under attack everywhere from legislatures to libraries, the subversive, inclusive community that frequents Jacque’s steadfastly rebels with the joyous queer art of drag. It is a community I love and have endeavored to photograph faithfully.
